Non-life-threatening medical concerns during hours can be addressed by contacting our clinic on (07) 5597 4100. We have nurses and staff available to gather details of the concern and escalate to the surgeon as required. When our clinic is closed, we ensure our patients have access to timely medical care through a formal after-hours process.

(We are closed Sunday, Public Holidays and have reduced hours during the weeks of Christmas and New Year. All Southport hours are Queensland Eastern Standard Time and Ballina hours are consistent with NSW daylight saving hours). Extended hours are by appointment only.

Most after-hours concerns can be managed by your surgeon over the phone; however, in some cases, it may be appropriate to attend our clinic or a local GP or Emergency Clinic

If urgent, but not life-threatening:

• Please attend Pindara Emergency Department, Allchurch Avenue, Benowa, (Ph 5588 9000).  If you are not currently on the Gold Coast, please go to your nearest doctor or emergency clinic. If you are a patient of this clinic, please have the hospital/doctor you are taken to contact our doctors for medical or surgical history and to communicate your condition (07) 5597 4100. This after-hours arrangement is not a substitute for regular care. Please book an appointment with our clinic for ongoing care.
