The Layt Clinic Signature Facial

Our therapists during the Signature Facial will discuss your concerns and perform a skin analysis.  The appointment will include a double cleanse and assessment, and areas of dehydration, pigmentation and oiliness will be identified.  The skin will then be nourished with medical grade skin care products and you will be recommended products or treatments which would benefit your skin’s condition.

The Signature facial utilizes a range of antioxidants, lactic acid peels and salicylic acid peels to tailor the treatment to the individual based on the analysis of their skin.

The Signature Facial will conclude with a range of nourishing masks and serums to result in a facial aimed to rejuvenate the skin and address the areas of concern.

LED Facials

What is an LED Facial or LED Therapy?

The LED Facial is a non-invasive skin treatment that uses LED light to emit wavelengths of light energy, targeting deep into your skin at a cellular level for multiple skin and antiaging benefits, including the reduction in appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improvement in uneven skin tone, reducing pore size, visible improvement of acne scaring and rosacea, and brightening of the skin. It is a completely painless treatment that offers noticeable results, and is safe for all skin types.

We also offer LED Light Therapy at The Layt Clinic to our post-surgical patients.  This therapy enhances your body’s natural cellular recovery, improving healing times, and assisting with pain relief.  It works by targeting deep into the skin cells to heighten their internal function and aid in stimulating dermal blood flow which in turn, induces faster healing and the reduction of pain.

Blue Light Therapy

Blue light wavelength is clinically proven to have powerful bacteria fighting properties. This light therapy if effective in treating mild to moderate acne conditions, stabilising oil gland secretion, easing inflammation and purifying the skin.

Infrared Therapy

Infrared energy achieves the deepest penetration of any wavelength in the visible spectrum, but it is invisible to the naked eye. It is used to replenish the epidermal and dermal cells, battle signs of ageing, calm inflammation, increase blood flow to the tissue and encourages wound or overall healing within the skin. This particular light is used within both our surgical and non-surgical treatments and in some post-operative healing appointments.

How long does it take?

The facial can be undertaken during your lunch break taking approximately 40 minutes, and there is no downtime which allows you to return to work afterwards as there is no redness. If you are having light therapy to aid in post surgical healing this can be performed in as little as 10 to 20 minutes depending on the area being treated.

How soon will I see results?

Results will be immediate after the first treatment, however if you choose to have several treatments spread over the a period of time this will deliver longer lasting results.

Advanced Peels and Other Additional Treatments (Added To Your Signature Facial)

Deluxe treatments include an additional 20% lactic hydration treatment of the neck and décolletage as well as the individually designed Signature Facial treatment.

The Deep Sea Advanced Peel is an intense manual exfoliation to resurface the skin. The peel combines science and botanical ingredients to assist in treating pigmentation and softening acne scarring. It is not recommended for sensitive skins however it is also a gluten free product.

The Timeless Advanced Peel is a highly concentrated peel with L-Lactic acid and L-Retinol AGP to help exfoliate the skin, stimulate cell rejuvenation, promotes elastin and collagen to help reduce the visible signs of ageing.
