Ros Cooper – Registered Nurse Injector & Laser Aesthetician
Ros Cooper is a Senior Cosmetic Nurse with over 15 years of experience working in the aesthetic industry. She began her career as an Operating Theatre Scrub Nurse & after working in theatre with Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr Craig Layt, has worked alongside him both in Theatres at Pindara & Pacific Private Hospitals & in his clinic.
Ros is experienced in Advanced Cosmetic injecting, as well as Laser, IPL, CoolSculpting®, skin care & PRP treatments. Ros still maintains her skills with pre & post operative care to help guide the patient through their recovery period with as much support & empathy as possible.
Her passion for Facial Artistry & for making women & men look & feel their best has guided her desire to gain a detailed knowledge of facial aesthetics & clinical anatomy.
She believes it is vitally important to stay updated with the latest techniques & developments so she can pass on this valuable information to her clients. When assessing their needs & wants, Ros can offer each client an honest appraisal with an emphasis on staying natural & ageing gracefully, which is a common request. She believes customer service & education to demystify common myths about injectables enable her to deliver outstanding results.
She believes we are all just looking to preserve our natural beauty, not looking to change anything, just to slow the ageing process down.

Samantha Golden – Laser Nurse Aesthetician
Samantha is an Enrolled Nurse and highly experienced Laser Technician. She works between our Southport and Ballina clinics providing post-operative care and non-surgical treatments. She also holds an Advanced Diploma in Dermal Science and Phlebotomy, which allows her to provide safe, high-strength para-medical treatments. She is dedicated to providing treatments for the best in skin health and integrity. Samantha is experienced in non-surgical, medical grade cosmetic procedures, including treatments for body sculpting, acne scarring, facial rejuvenation, hyperpigmentation and sun-damage. Platelet Rich Plasma Treatments and the new ResurFX® laser treatments are also treatments which Samantha is able to offer her clients. As a QLD Radiation Health certified Laser and IPL operator, she is qualified to perform a wide range of light-based therapies. Samantha enjoys creating a holistic treatment plan for her patients so that she can tailor an approach that suits them perfectly and gets the results they are looking for.
Lucie Penwarn – Registered Nurse Injector & Laser Aesthetician
Lucie is a highly experienced aesthetic nurse who has a passion for anti-ageing treatments. Lucie is a wonderfully compassionate member of the team and is highly experienced in the Cutera® laser and IPL technologies for pigmentation and hair removal treatments as well as anti-ageing injections. Lucie is also experienced in CoolSculpting and dedicated to delivering results.
Dale Nicholls – Registered Nurse
Dale has been with the clinic initially starting out in the administration team whilst studying nursing at Southern Cross University. Dale is here to guide patients both pre- and post-operatively through their surgical journey and is experienced in non-surgical, medical-grade cosmetic procedures, including treatments for body sculpting, acne scarring and facial rejuvenation.
Collette Nicholls – Dermal Aesthetician
Collette is an experienced Dermal Aesthetician having been in the industry for a number of years. She has extensive training in analysing and treating skin through a variety of advanced techniques, including dermal needling, medical-grade peels, microdermabrasion and much more. She is meticulous with brow sculpting using threading, waxing and/or tinting, including lash tinting and lifts as well as full face makeup application. Collette is focused on results-driven outcomes by providing a wide variety of treatments to cater to the needs of her clients.
Renee Baumann, Laser & Dermal Therapy, CoolSculpting® and Ballina Team Coordinator
Renee joined The Layt Clinic in 2019, bringing 15 years of experience with her having worked in Medical Aesthetics and procedures including IPL Photo Rejuvenation, Radio Frequency Skin Tightening, Laser Hair Removal, LED Light Therapy, SkinPen® with PRP, and Chemical Peels. For the past five years Renee has focused in CoolSculpting®, attending CoolSculpting® University in the United States, and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in both CoolSculpting® and Medical Aesthetics to The Layt Clinic. Renee is extremely dedicated to her patients and passionate about delivering real results.
Kate Posthuma – Ballina Reception and Administration
Kate recently joined The Layt Clinic as an integral member of the reception and administration team in our Ballina Clinic. Kate has an extensive background in ophthalmology and is passionate about helping patients with their appointments and bookings. You will always find Kate at front reception with a warm welcoming smile.
Sheena Bridge – Administration
Sheena is our second-longest serving staff member at The Layt Clinic, having been with us for over 13 years as one of our wonderful Receptionists. She brings a warmth and passion to the front of house at The Layt Clinic, and you will always find her manning the front desk with a wide smile, ready to greet our patients. Sheena will greet you in our Southport Clinic and is an important member of The Layt Team.
Lori Pennie – Administration & Patient Coordinator
Lori joined the clinic in 2018 as a Receptionist, providing front-of-house services to our patients. When not on Reception greeting our patients with her wide smile and infectious enthusiasm, you will find Lori assisting Dr Layt and Dr Trott as a Patient Coordinator.
As a Patient Coordinator, Lori guides patients through their surgical journey with Dr Layt, providing concierge appointments to present information on our surgical procedures, and if you are in the first stages of your surgical journey this is a great step in preparing you for your appointment with Dr Layt.
Kim Northcott – Patient Coordinator
Kimberly has joined the team as a vibrant member of our administration and Patient Coordinator team. Kimberly guides patients through their surgical journey with Dr Layt and Dr Trott and provides concierge appointments to present information on our surgical procedures. If you are in the first stages of your surgical journey this is a great step in preparing you for your appointment with Dr Layt. She brings a warmth and passion to The Layt Clinic. Kristina Ciufetteli joined The Layt Clinic in 2019 as an integral member of the reception team in our Southport office. Kristina loves to assist patients with their appointments and bookings and is ready to greet our patients with her infectious smile.
Taylah Noonan – Patient Coordinator

June Jones – Practice Manager
June is our longest serving employee at The Layt Clinic, having worked as Practice Manager for 15 years. Commencing her career in the medical industry in 1989, June worked for different General Practitioners and Plastic Surgeons, before joining The Layt Clinic in 2006. June is very passionate in her service to the clinic and works around the clock to ensure The Layt Clinic is providing the best possible service and care to our patients.
Tina Layt – Business Manager
Originally trained as a Radiographer at the Mater Hospitals in Brisbane, Tina furthered her career with a postgraduate degree in Medical Ultrasound. Her love for education and numbers led her to lecturing at QUT in Brisbane in Radiography and completing a Degree in Mathematics. During this time Tina also travelled with Rotary to The Solomon Islands to teach Ultrasound along with a corresponding Interplast visit.
With the relocation of her husband, Craig Layt, to Melbourne in 1998, Tina secured the role of Chief Sonographer at The Royal Childrens Hospital in Melbourne. This was followed in 2000 with a relocation to the Gold Coast and taking on the role of Practice Manager, and now Business Manager for The Layt Clinic.
Over the past 18 years, the Practice has grown, with 2 locations and 24 staff. During this time, Tina has been involved with numerous ASAPS meetings and enjoys sharing and learning how to build a compliant, ethical and successful business. Tina is proud to have a high level of staff retention and strong relationships with both staff and patients. Tina lives by the belief that you can never stop learning, that there is always room for improvement in everything you do in life, and to learn new skills keeps you interested in being present and alive. Tina is currently studying for her Pilot’s License.
Dr Anna Loch-Wilkinson – Mudgeeraba Hand Clinic and Mater Hospital
Dr Anna Loch-Wilkinson is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with extensive training and experience in microsurgery and breast reconstruction, limb reconstruction, hand surgery, skin cancer removal, and treatments for facial trauma. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees at the University of Sydney, and received specialist training in plastic and reconstructive surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Queensland and NSW.
Dr Dan Perera – Ashmore Road Family Practice
Dr Dan Perera is a General Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience. In addition to his own General Practice, Dr Perera has served as a surgical assistant to our plastic surgeon, Dr Craig Layt, for many years. He consults from The Layt Clinic’s Southport office on skin lesion evaluations, as well as monitoring and surveillance of skin cancer cases.
Dr James Trott – Pacific Private Hospital and Pindara Private Hospital
Dr James Trott, originally from Adelaide, is an experienced Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. He was a senior member of the Australian Cranio-Facial Unit and extensively experienced in Rhinoplasty. Dr Trott now resides on the Gold Coast and consults skin cancer and skin lesion patients at The Layt Clinic. Dr Trott operates at both Pacific Private Hospital and Pindara Private Hospital.
Brooke Fransisco – Training and Development Consultant for Injectable Clinicians Around Australia
Brooke Fransisco is a Registered Nurse Cosmetic Injector with nearly two decades of experience. Nationally known for her “Australian Naturally Styled” approach, Brooke has employed her extensive training, knowledge, and skills to train many of today’s professional injectors. Brooke has been a Consultant to The Layt Clinic since 2007, working in both of our clinics (Ballina and Southport).
