Dr Craig Layt Interviewed in Recent Issue of the Gold Coast Bulletin!

We are excited to announce that our very own Dr Craig Layt was featured in a recent issue of the Gold Coast Bulletin! Dr Layt was asked for his thoughts in an article focused on “Nip and Tuck Season”—the time of year when it always seems to get even busier for plastic and cosmetic surgeons.

Our experienced plastic surgeon explained that the reason why so many individuals choose to have cosmetic enhancement procedures in November through January of each year may be due to the fact that an abundance of social engagements and reunions occur over that period, and people want to look their best. Dr Layt also noted that anti-wrinkle treatments in particular seem to spike in popularity during that time of the season. Some of those procedures typically allow patients to undergo treatment with almost-immediate results, getting them ready for an event that may be quickly approaching. The article also noted that, since the holiday season offers many people some room for downtime, surgical procedures that require a recovery period are also popular in the months of November through January, which gives patients the opportunity to have their new and improved appearance ready for summer.
