Ros Cooper – Registered Nurse Aesthetician

Ros is a valued expert, qualified theatre nurse assisting Dr Layt at Pindara & Pacific Hospitals in our full surgical suite of services. An experienced anti-ageing injector, laser and IPL technician with 8 years in our Gold Coast practice. Ros is also trained in lymphatic drainage for post operative patients. Ros regularly attends conferences to lead changing trends in the cosmetic field.

 

Sophie D’Agostin – Para-Medical Aesthetician

Sophie is a Para Medical Aesthetician with a Diploma of Beauty Therapy who joined our Gold Coast Clinic in September 2008. With previous experience in the beauty industry Sophie is well educated with product knowledge and is highly experienced in medical strength microdermabrasion and facial peels, skin care and makeup. Sophie is also trained in post operative lymphatic drainage. Sophie prides herself in tailoring each skincare regime to suit each clients individual needs and requirements.

Alyssa Dawson – Para-Medical Aesthetician

Alyssa first started in the beauty industry when she was just 14 years old as a cosmetic assistant and went on to completing her diploma of beauty therapy in 2008.  Alyssa has been a very valuable addition to our Gold Coast team since starting in March 2010.  With many talents Alyssa works on current advertising and specials and post operative care for Dr Layt’s surgical patients.  Alyssa prides herself in client satisfaction by offering each client treatments that will meet their expectations. Once you meet Alyssa you will feel your skin is in good hands as she is very passionate about beauty therapy and educating each client about their skin.  Alyssa is also trained in Cutera for hair removal and photo rejuvenation. To meet Alyssa please phone our friendly receptionist on 55974100.

Lucie Penwarn – Registered Nurse Aesthetician

We welcome Lucie to our Gold Coast team. Lucie is a highly experienced anaesthetic nurse specialist who has a passion for anti-ageing treatments. Lucie is a wonderfully compassionate member of the team and is highly experienced in the Cutera laser and IPL technologies as well as anti-ageing injections.

 

 

Samantha Ambrose – Para-Medical Aesthetician

Samantha joined our Southport Clinic in December 2012. Sam is a qualified laser technician and beauty therapist with a Diploma of Beauty Therapy. Sam is trained in Cutera, and holds a laser license with QLD Radiation Health. Sam has over 6 years experience performing various laser treatments and is also very passionate about the skin. Sam is results driven and strives for the best results with every client. Sam is able to offer you experience, safety and the most up to date knowledge with all laser and skin treatments.

Collette Nicholls – Makeup Artist and Aesthetician

Seven years ago my family and I moved to Australia from South Africa, where I qualified as a make-up artist in 1996 at The G’lamour School of Make-up.

For the past 12 years I have freelanced as a Makeup Artist covering television, fashion, photo shoots, weddings and bridal exhibitions, as well as held the role of Makeup Artist for Estee Lauder Cosmetics Company.

Since relocating to Australia I have held the role of Head Makeup Artist for a prestigious Day Spa on the Gold Coast performing workshops, holding make-up lessons and hosting events, primarily using my first choice of cosmetic brands, Jane Iredale. My work has been featured both in as well as on the cover of a prestigious Gold Coast magazine.

Since joining The Layt Clinic in 2010 I have also enjoyed treating my clients to other beauty treatment such as facial, eyelash extensions, manicures and pedicures.  I am looking forward to meeting all my new clients to pass on my knowledge.

I am mainly at the Gold Coast Clinic in Southport but also travel to the Ballina Clinic.

Jodi Gibbs – Para-Medical Aesthetician and Consultant

Jodi Gibbs has over 20 years of experience in the health and beauty industry and works at the Ballina Clinic. As a paramedical aesthetician Jodi stays up to date with ever improving technology which allows her to offer a number of non surgical options for facial rejuvenation.

Consultations with Jodi are free of charge and will be the first step forward in seeing an improvement in your skin condition and appearance. Jodi specialises in medical strength peels and microdermabrasion, IPL skin rejuvenation and hair removal, Jane Iredale skincare camouflage make up, pre and post surgery support as well as pre surgical information on plastic surgery and rejuvenation injections. Jodi is dedicated to making sure all patients are fully informed of all aspects of their treatment, conducting skin analysis for all new patients and coordinating procedures from start to finish.

With a natural empathy for her patients, her ultimate job satisfaction is when a patient says “this is the best thing I have ever done for myself and should have done this a long time ago.”
